Who are you and since when have you worked at Xafax and what is your position?
My name is Sanne and I have been working at Xafax as an administrative assistant since July 2017. When I came to work here, I was deployed for accounts receivable management and for the financial administration of our Stichting Beheer Derden Gelden.
Have your activities changed in recent years?
Of course. At one point I took over the work of creating and processing payment contracts from a former colleague. Due to the strict legislation, this work is quite laborious and requires a lot of correspondence and a lot of correspondence with the parties involved. After that, I was also in the 'apprenticeship' to take charge of invoicing. Since March of this year I have been doing all the invoicing for Xafax Netherlands.
The IT sector is quite a man's world, how do you experience that?
I have quite a few male colleagues, but almost all women are in the office near me. In addition, it doesn't really matter to me whether I work with many men or women. I get along with a lot of people.
What is something you look back on with pride (within your work)?
My growth within the company and that I can be deployed in multiple departments and have therefore gained more knowledge.
Do you like technology yourself?
The people around me always think that I am quite technical, but more in the sense that I do a lot of it myself at home and first see how something works before I ask for help.
Where can you be found on a day off?
At home with my 2 children or we are on the road and I can often be found with friends and family. I like having fun and doing fun things.
What is your favorite movie or series?
Poohhhh do you have a moment? Haha. Series: How To Get Away With Murder, La Casa de Papel, The Handmaid's Tale, Grand Hotel and films: all time favorite 'Titanic', Man on Fire, Intouchables
What gives you goosebumps?
When I sneeze or hear a scary story haha.
What else should people know about you?
I love food and can't live without music at all.
